NEW ORLEANS JAZZ BANDS

Though similar to our Riverboat Hot Jazz Band on the surface, traditional New Orleans Jazz is interpreted and improvised by the player in a different manner, and projects an overall contrasting groove. Traditional New Orleans Jazz isn't necessarily focused on blazing tempos and acrobatic improvisations, though the musicians are more than capable. Instead, the focus goes to the soul of the music and the strong rhythms of the band.
